  • PURCHASING SUPERVISOR

    JOB TITLE: Purchasing Supervisor

    DEPARTMENT: Purchasing

    PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:

    • Responsible for all purchases to support business requirements while consistently seeking the best product for the best value.

    REPORTS TO: Deputy Director

    DIRECT REPORT: Purchasing Staff


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
    • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
    • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
    • Develop and maintain positive and professional supplier relationships.
    • Manage supplier base while proactively seeking and developing new reliable suppliers.
    • Monitor and evaluate all purchasing department activities, such as process daily requisitions, expedite deliveries, resolve quality issues and adjust supply chain as required.
    • Work closely with all departments to ensure timely, cost effective solutions to support products and improvements.
    • Conduct physical inventories quarterly or as required with Inventory department.
    • Set standard costs and lead times for required material and services.
    • Develop and implement purchasing reporting.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree.
    • At least 3 years of Supervisor/Coordinator level experience in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
    • Experience in an engineering, procurement and operations company is preferred.
    • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, MS Outlook.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, English proficiency preferred but not a must.
    • Results oriented with ability to function in a team environment.
    • Excellent negotiating, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects while effectively meeting deadlines.
    • Workshop Location: Gunung Sindur, Bogor
